Let me start off by saying I wish we had one of these closer to Tampa! We came in for lunch yesterday and were seated immediately. Not even two minutes after sitting down we were served warm biscuits with a fruity butter. Usually when I go to a restaurant there are only one or two things I am interested in ordering for an entree. The menu at this restaurant had so much to choose from! I had at least 5 different entrees I wanted to pick. You can't get an open-face sandwich, steak stroganoff or Italian meatloaf just anywhere, so I was sure glad to see these on the menu. I ended up with the meatloaf which came with two hearty pieces. It was absolutely delicious. The serving sizes (both the meatloaf and the sides) were generous. My little one ordered chicken tenders and her dish came with two large pieces that were cooked perfectly and not over battered. To our surprise, we were also given cookies with our check! This was a nice little treat and totally unexpected. The service was prompt and our waiter was really nice and attentive. From the front of the restaurant (outside) it looked like it could be a small place but once inside it was actually a large restaurant. I did dig the modern design while still having a diner feel. I would most definitely return if we were ever in the area again.
From the biscuit with strawberry butter to start, with amazing meals in between, to the snickerdoodle cookie to go, every aspect of the Pantry was amazing. The staff was excellent, decor very appropriate and the food was really delicious!
Food is good, reasonable prices for the most part Acoustics not so good. If it is crowed you can barely hear you conversations. Don't order the biscuits & Gravy, you will be disappointed by the price & size of your order.
Nice place. The diner is, as the name promises, modern decor. I've eaten here twice and not been disappointed. There is a good variety of sandwiches and blue plate meals plus a strong breakfast menu. You could eat here for a month and always order something different. Their biscuits are excellent and the flavored butter are good too, if not a little gimmicky. Service has always been excellent. Recommend.
